Attorney General Tim Griffin Announces Arrest Following Retail Theft Investigation in Little Rock

Tim Griffin announced the arrest of a Little Rock woman following a lengthy retail crime investigation involving thousands of dollars in stolen merchandise.

According to the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office, investigators with the Special Investigations Division received a tip from TJX Companies on October 8, 2024, regarding multiple thefts at a Marshalls store in Little Rock Arkansas.

Authorities say the suspect allegedly stole merchandise during incidents on September 7th, 16th, 19th, 23rd, and 28th, along with additional thefts on October 3rd, 8th, and 28th. Investigators estimate the total value of stolen inventory at approximately $12,000.

The Attorney General’s Office identified the suspect as Ebonie Louden, 40, of Little Rock Arkansas.

Officials say affidavits requesting 8 felony theft warrants were submitted to the Pulaski County Prosecutor’s Office on November 8, 2024. The warrants were later approved and forwarded to Little Rock District Court.

On May 29, 2026, the Little Rock Police Department arrested Louden on separate theft-related charges. Investigators with the Attorney General’s Special Investigations Division then transported Louden to the Pulaski County Jail where she was served with 8 additional felony theft warrants.

Griffin praised investigators and local law enforcement for their work on the case and stated retail theft crimes negatively impact businesses, employees, and consumers.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
