More than 800 municipal officials, department heads, and city employees from across Arkansas will gather this week for the 92nd Annual Arkansas Municipal League Convention.

The convention, themed “Rooted, Resilient and Rising,” will be held June 17-19 at the Statehouse Convention Center and Little Rock Marriott.
Representatives from more than 200 Arkansas cities and towns are expected to attend the three-day event. Greenwood Mayor Doug Kinslow, president of the Arkansas Municipal League, and Beebe Clerk/Treasurer Carol Westergren, the organization’s first vice president, will preside over convention activities.
General sessions will focus on some of the most significant issues facing Arkansas communities, including housing challenges, economic development opportunities, municipal waste management, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and government transparency.
Attendees will also have 11 opportunities to earn certification credits through the Arkansas Civic Education Program. Additional training will be offered for city treasurers and municipal finance officers to help meet education requirements established under Act 671 of 2025.
Author, coach, and speaker Jason Curry will deliver a keynote presentation on resilience, leadership, and success during the convention.
More than 120 vendors and sponsors are expected to participate in the Convention Exhibition Hall, showcasing products, services, and technologies designed to assist municipalities across Arkansas.
The event will conclude with the adoption of the League’s Policies and Goals statement for the coming year, the announcement of the 2026-2027 officers, and an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding service to Arkansas municipalities.
The Arkansas Municipal League was founded in 1934 and serves as a statewide advocacy and support organization for Arkansas cities and towns.
