Cave City Watermelon Festival Sweetest Voice Contest 2026 Opens Entries Deadline July 3rd

Singers from across Arkansas are being invited to enter the 2026 Cave City Watermelon Festival Sweetest Voice Contest for a chance to perform live on stage and win a $500 grand prize.

Contest organizers say contestants must submit a video of a live acoustic performance before the July 3 deadline. The Top 10 finalists will perform Thursday, July 23, during the Cave City Watermelon Festival in Cave City Arkansas.

The winner will also earn the opportunity to open for country music star Sammy Kershaw during the festival.

Performers may use live instrumental backing including guitar, keyboard, or fiddle. Organizers say karaoke tracks, backing tracks, voice manipulation, and full bands are not permitted.
