Cave City Watermelon Festival Hosting Trenton Morgan Memorial Cook Off

Grill masters from across Arkansas are invited to fire up the smoker and compete in the inaugural Trenton Morgan Memorial Steak and Chicken Wing Cook Off presented by the Cave City Watermelon Festival.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, at Cave City Park in Cave City Arkansas. Contest organizers say competitors can enter the steak competition, chicken wing competition, or both divisions for a chance to win prizes and bragging rights.

Officials say all proceeds from the event will benefit the Cave City Watermelon Festival’s Next Generation Scholarship program, helping local students pursue educational opportunities and future career goals.

Applications and official rules are available now at the Bank of Cave City.

Organizers describe the event as more than just a cook off, calling it an opportunity to honor the memory of Trenton Morgan while investing in the future of area students.
