Arkansas is being recognized as 1 of the top homeschool-friendly states in America according to a new national study released by All About Learning Press, Inc.

The American Homeschool Attainability Index ranked Arkansas as the #2 state in the nation for homeschooling opportunities and accessibility. The study found Arkansas offers families a low-regulation environment with only an annual notice requirement for homeschool families.

Researchers said Arkansas has become one of the South’s leading states for homeschooling due to its flexible rules and growing support systems for home education.
Alaska ranked #1 overall, while Idaho, Indiana, Arizona, and Utah also made the top rankings for homeschool accessibility and long-term support for families.
The study estimates nearly 3.4 million K-12 students across the United States are now educated at home as homeschooling continues to grow nationwide.
