Searcy School District Hosts Arkansas D.A.R.E. Officer Training Program

The Searcy School District recently welcomed law enforcement officers from across Arkansas for Arkansas D.A.R.E. Officer Training, providing an opportunity for officers to prepare for service in schools and communities throughout the state.

District officials said it was an honor to host the training program and support the mission of D.A.R.E., which focuses on helping students make safe and responsible choices while building confidence and decision-making skills.

The training brought together officers from various agencies across Arkansas as they learned strategies and techniques designed to strengthen relationships with students and encourage positive life choices.

School leaders expressed appreciation for the officers participating in the program and for their commitment to serving young people both inside and outside the classroom.

The D.A.R.E. program has long played an important role in educating students about personal responsibility, decision-making, and avoiding risky behaviors.
