First Community Bank has announced that Dillon Richard and Wendell Edwards have graduated from the prestigious Barret School of Banking in Memphis, Tennessee.
The Barret School of Banking is a 3-year professional development program that provides advanced education in leadership, management, lending, finance and strategic planning. The program equips banking professionals with practical knowledge and leadership skills to better serve customers, businesses and communities.

Richard serves as vice president and commercial lending officer in Conway. Since joining First Community Bank in 2021, he has worked with businesses throughout Central Arkansas, providing customized lending solutions. He brings more than 10 years of banking and lending experience and holds both bachelor’s and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Central Arkansas.

Edwards serves as assistant vice president and loan systems analyst at First Community Bank’s operations center in Batesville. He joined the bank in 2021 after graduating from Arkansas Tech University with degrees in finance and economics. Edwards graduated from the Barret School of Banking with cum laude honors and completed Banque Simulation, an advanced banking management exercise focused on strategic decision-making and financial performance.
First Community Bank President and Chief Operating Officer Boris Dover praised both graduates for their commitment to professional growth and said their accomplishments will benefit customers, communities and the organization.
