The Arkansas State University System is now accepting applications for a new privately funded scholarship program designed to help nontraditional students across Arkansas pursue higher education and workforce training opportunities.

The ASU System Educational Scholarship Fund is available to adults who are U.S. citizens, Arkansas residents for at least 13 months, and who have at least 3 years of life experience after high school without attending college.
Eligible students may attend classes full-time or part-time at any ASU System institution, including Arkansas State University, Henderson State University, ASU-Beebe, ASU-Mountain Home, ASU-Newport, ASU Mid-South, and ASU Three Rivers, along with online programs throughout the system.
According to interim ASU System President Dr. Robin Myers, the scholarship is intended for adults whose financial or personal circumstances delayed college earlier in life, along with military veterans, career changers, and workers seeking additional certifications or degrees.
Eligible academic programs include business, healthcare, science, technology, and vocational training fields. Liberal arts and legal programs are excluded.
Scholarship funds may cover tuition, books, fees, and admissions testing costs. The scholarship is renewable under qualifying conditions.
Applications and eligibility requirements are available online through the ASU System Scholarship Page
