Arkansas State Police (ASP) Troopers seized approximately 6 kilograms of suspected cocaine during a traffic stop Sunday morning on Interstate 57 in White County.

According to authorities, the stop occurred around 9:30 a.m. near mile-marker 48 when a Trooper pulled over a Chevrolet Silverado for a traffic violation. During the stop, Troopers conducted a search of the vehicle and discovered the suspected narcotics.
The driver, a 33-year-old man from south Texas, was taken into custody without incident and transported to the White County Detention Center. He faces charges of trafficking a controlled substance along with additional related offenses.
Investigators say the suspect told authorities he was traveling to St. Louis, Missouri. The investigation remains ongoing.
