SISTER ACT BRINGS HIT MOVIE MUSICAL TO CABOT

Based on the popular Touchstone Pictures film, “Sister Act the Musical” tells the story of Deloris Van Cartier, a disco diva whose life takes an unexpected turn after she witnesses a murder.

For her protection, Deloris is placed in protective custody in a location where no one would think to look for her — a convent.

Adjusting to her unusual new surroundings proves challenging for the outgoing performer, whose personality and musical talents soon begin to change the lives of those around her.

When Deloris becomes involved with the convent choir, she uses her vocal abilities, performance experience and signature dance moves to transform the group’s sound.

Her influence brings new energy to the choir and helps breathe life into the surrounding community.

What follows is a lively musical comedy filled with unexpected friendships, humorous situations and memorable performances.
