Police in Arkansas are investigating a deadly car accident.
Pine Bluff Police Department reveals that tragic multi-vehicle accident took place on February 5, 2025, at approximately 2:44 P.M. at the intersection of West 33rd Avenue and South Olive Street, prompting a swift response from local law enforcement.
Deadly Crash Under Investigation By Police
Upon their arrival, officers discovered a chaotic scene with a grey Chevrolet Silverado showing front-end damage, a red passenger car with extensive driver-side damage, and a white car that was subsequently hit.
The driver of the red car, identified as 62-year-old Larry Strong, was trapped inside his vehicle and required the assistance of the Pine Bluff Fire Department to be extricated. Sadly, Strong was pronounced dead at the scene by Jefferson County Coroner Chad Kelley at 3:18 P.M., while a passenger from the same vehicle was taken to Jefferson Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The drivers of the grey pickup truck and the white passenger car escaped without serious harm and did not require hospital treatment, according to initial reports.
