Law enforcement have issued an update after a disturbing incident has spurred public interest.
A county sheriff’s office in Arkansas say an autopsy has been ordered after a 911 call leading to a deceased woman.
Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander reported that deputies responded to a 911 call about an unresponsive female at a residence in Protem on February 2, 2024, at approximately 12:10 AM. Upon arrival at Pine Hollow Road, deputies found the woman deceased in her bed.
An Autopsy Has Been Ordered
The Marion County Coroner arrived and officially pronounced the woman dead at 3:50 AM. The body was then taken into custody by the coroner and will be transferred to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
A resident of the house revealed that the deceased had been suffering from cancer but had declined medical treatment. This information may provide insight into the circumstances surrounding her death.
The victim has been identified as Lauren K. Bradley, a white female born on October 2, 1989, and a resident of Protem. Sheriff Alexander confirmed that her next of kin has been notified.
The investigation into Bradley’s death is ongoing, with authorities awaiting autopsy results to shed further light on the case.
