White River Health and First Community Bank are bringing HealthFirst back to Batesville on Tuesday, October 6, giving women an opportunity to step away from busy schedules and spend an evening focused on their own health and well-being.

The free women’s health event will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. at the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville.

Organizers say HealthFirst is designed to encourage women to “make a deposit” in their health by taking advantage of screenings, education, wellness resources and an evening of connection.

Women of all ages are invited to attend.

FREE HEALTH SCREENINGS AND EDUCATION

The first portion of HealthFirst will feature free women’s health screenings and educational opportunities from 4 until 5:45 p.m.

Health topics will include heart health, women’s health basics, menopause education, pelvic floor education, healthy weight and metabolism, mental wellness, mom and baby health, skin health, joint health and more.

Flu shots will also be available.

Organizers are encouraging guests to arrive early so they have time to participate in screenings and visit the educational stations before the featured presentation begins.

LEXI JOHNSON TO SPEAK FROM 6 UNTIL 7

Online fitness and lifestyle coach Lexi Johnson, founder of Lexi J Wellness, will be the featured speaker.

Johnson will present from 6 until 7 p.m.

Her message will focus on making meaningful investments in personal health and developing habits that can support long-term wellness.

Through Lexi J Wellness, Johnson works with busy women on sustainable lifestyle changes involving fitness, nutrition and everyday health habits.

Her program includes 28-minute workouts, nutrition coaching and practical wellness strategies designed to fit into busy schedules.

Organizers say her wellness community now reaches women in all 50 states and eight countries.

FREE BROW BAR AVAILABLE

HealthFirst will also include a complimentary Brow Bar provided by students from the UACCB Cosmetology Salon.

Participants will be able to take advantage of the beauty service at no charge.

Organizers say the addition is intended to make the event both educational and enjoyable.

HealthFirst is free and open to women of all ages.

The event will be held Tuesday, October 6, from 4 until 7 p.m. at UACCB in Batesville.

Free screenings and education will be available from 4 until 5:45 p.m.
