An investigation is underway after a 21-year-old Cabot Arkansas man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Friday morning in Pulaski County Arkansas.

According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a crash at approximately 4:17 AM on May 29 at 1209 East Cleland Road near Little Rock Arkansas.
Investigators say a 2018 GMC Canyon was traveling westbound on the wet roadway during rainy conditions when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway, and struck a tree.
Authorities identified the driver as Ryan Benke, 21, of Cabot Arkansas. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said rainy weather and wet road conditions were present at the time of the accident. Deputy J. Keyes with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation.
Ryan Benke’s body was transported to the Arkansas State Crime Lab.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
