A FULL ROAD CLOSURE is scheduled for Highway 25 across Greers Ferry Dam on May 3 as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers conducts routine maintenance.

Officials say the closure will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with detour routes clearly posted around the work zone.
Following the closure, the roadway will reopen to one lane of traffic beginning the evening of May 3 through May 9. Temporary traffic signals will be in place at both ends of the dam to guide vehicles safely through the area.
Motorists are urged to obey all traffic signals, reduce speed near crews and equipment, and allow extra travel time. The project is being coordinated with local emergency services and law enforcement.
Officials say they regret the inconvenience and appreciate the public’s cooperation while improvements are completed.
