Searcy High School Robotics Team Advances to World Championship After Major Win

The Searcy High School Robotics Team is celebrating a major achievement after competing at the Rocket City Regional in Huntsville, Alabama, where the team advanced to the semifinals and finished 3rd overall.

In addition to their strong performance, the team earned the prestigious Impact Award, the highest honor in FIRST Robotics. This award recognizes teams that demonstrate a significant positive impact on their community and is awarded following a rigorous interview process with judges.

Because of this accomplishment, the Searcy High School team has officially qualified for the FIRST World Championship, scheduled for April 28 through May 2 in Houston, Texas.

The competition brings together top robotics teams from around the world, highlighting innovation, teamwork, and technical excellence.

The Searcy team’s success reflects their dedication, hard work, and commitment to advancing STEM education in Arkansas.
