A 19-year-old Bradford man died in a single-vehicle crash on State Highway 25 in Charlotte on September 5, according to an Arkansas State Police preliminary crash report.
Robert Colvin was driving a 2018 Ram 2500 westbound when the crash happened at approximately 7:35 PM in Independence County.
According to the report, the pickup left the north side of the roadway, struck a creek embankment and overturned. The vehicle caught fire during the impact.
Colvin was listed as the driver and the only person killed. No injuries were listed in the report.
Weather conditions were clear, and the roadway was dry. The report did not state what caused the pickup to leave the roadway.
Trooper Nicholas R. Ade investigated the crash. Colvin’s next of kin had been notified.
