Cabot Parks and Recreation is asking visitors attending Thursday evening’s fireworks celebration to be prepared for temporary traffic changes as thousands of people leave the park following the event.

Officials announced that all entrance lanes will convert to EXIT ONLY traffic immediately after the fireworks to help move vehicles safely and efficiently out of the complex.
Drivers parked in the front grass parking lot closest to the highway will be required to make a left turn only when exiting. Those vehicles will not be allowed to cross the highway median into the right lanes.
Visitors parked farther inside the park should watch for directional signs before reaching the median. The left 2 exit lanes must turn left, while the right 2 exit lanes must turn right.
Cabot Parks and Recreation encourages everyone to be patient, follow posted signs and obey traffic control personnel to help ensure a safe and efficient exit for all attendees.
