The Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas have announced the promotion of Jennifer Christman Cia to director of publications while she continues serving as editor of Arkansas Living magazine.

Cia joined the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas in 2019 as associate editor and was promoted to editor of Arkansas Living magazine in 2021. In her expanded leadership role, she will continue directing the award-winning magazine while overseeing additional major cooperative publications.
Arkansas Living is the flagship publication of the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas and remains the state’s largest-circulation magazine. The publication produces 16 localized editions each month and reaches more than 375,000 homes, businesses, and farms across all 75 Arkansas counties.
The magazine has earned national and international recognition for both its print and digital content. ArkansasLivingMagazine.com has received international honors, and the publication is preparing to celebrate its 80th anniversary in November.
Before joining the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas, Cia spent 22 years with the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette as an award-winning columnist and editor. She also worked as an on-air personality at Little Rock radio station B98.5 KURB-FM.
Cia earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Maryland and is a graduate of Leadership Arkansas Class XV.
