Cave City High School students delivered an outstanding performance at the 2026 SkillsUSA Arkansas State Championships, earning 14 medals out of 19 competitors.

The event, held April 14 at the Hot Springs Convention Center, featured students from across Arkansas competing in career and technical education contests designed to prepare them for the workforce.
Among the highlights, sophomore Kaylee McDoniel earned a bronze medal in Prepared Speech, while sophomore Lincoln Hunter captured silver in Job Skill Demonstration A. Sophomore Alyssa Downs and junior Kendall Quinn earned silver in Audio-Radio Production.
Cave City teams also secured multiple gold medals. The Promotional Bulletin Board team of Jasmine Moya, Addyson Chappell, and Joshlynn Curtis took gold. Another gold came in Outstanding Chapter with Kaysen Satterwhite, Sebastian Sosa, and Tyler Freeman, marking Freeman’s third SkillsUSA medal.
The Broadcast News Production team of Clayton Downs, Huston Holly, Matthew Sullivan, and Emily Cross also earned gold honors.
Gold medalists advance to national competition this summer in Atlanta and receive scholarships, including opportunities at UACC Morrilton and Audio Media Production School.
