The City of Cabot is inviting the community to celebrate an important milestone in the construction of the new Cabot Animal Support Services facility.

A Beam Signing Ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 11, at the construction site near Exit 21 off U.S. Highway 67/167.
Before one of the building’s structural steel beams is lifted into place, Cabot Animal Support Services staff members will sign it. The signed beam will become a permanent part of the building and serve as a reminder of the dedication, partnerships and community support behind the project.
City officials say the new facility will expand Cabot Animal Support Services’ ability to provide animal care, adoption services and lifesaving programs.
The project is designed to help the organization better serve animals and the families who care for them throughout Cabot and the surrounding area for years to come.
Members of the public are invited to attend the ceremony and celebrate the construction milestone with city leaders, Cabot Animal Support Services staff and community supporters.
The construction site can be accessed from Ernie Davis Drive by way of Willie Ray Drive near Exit 21.
