The Maumelle Police Department has arrested a juvenile following a reported shooting threat involving a school in Maumelle Arkansas.
Authorities say the department received information on April 15 2026 regarding a possible threat posted on social media. Officers quickly launched an investigation and were able to identify the individual responsible.
The juvenile suspect was taken into custody without incident at approximately 6:45 AM on Wednesday.
Officials say no additional details are being released due to the suspect being a minor. At this time, there have been no reports of any actual violence connected to the threat.
Law enforcement emphasizes that all threats are taken seriously and investigated promptly to ensure the safety of students and the community.
