The Conway Police Department and the Conway School District are investigating an incident involving bullet damage discovered at a school district facility on April 14 2026 in Conway Arkansas.
Authorities say officers responded to the Conway Public Schools Administration Annex at 1902 Hairston after employees discovered damage believed to have been caused by a bullet.
Investigators recovered a bullet that appeared to have entered the east side of the building at a downward angle more than 6 feet above the ground. Officials believe the incident may have occurred earlier in the day when employees reported hearing what sounded like a rock striking the building.
Preliminary findings suggest the bullet may have originated from the direction of elevated railroad tracks northeast of the property.
No students were present at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported.
Officials emphasize that there is no evidence linking this case to other incidents reported on April 14 2026.
The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area is urged to contact Conway Police.
