First Community Bank has announced the promotion of Jonathan Hix to dealer direct loan officer, recognizing his extensive experience and leadership within the organization.

The promotion was announced on April 8, 2026, at the bank’s Batesville Arkansas operations.
In his new role, Hix will oversee lending operations and manage floor plans for dealers nationwide, playing a key role in the continued growth of the bank’s dealer direct department.
Hix brings more than 10 years of banking experience, having served in multiple positions including teller, assistant branch manager, teller trainer, and several roles within dealer direct such as loan support, funding, and relationship management.
“I am so thankful and truly excited for what’s ahead,” Hix said. “I appreciate this team and the opportunity to keep growing and contributing.”
Hix is a graduate of Sulphur Rock High School Arkansas and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Electronic Media Production from Harding University.
According to Steve Wilcoxon, president of the dealer direct department, Hix’s dedication and experience make him a strong asset to the bank’s future.
“Jonathan has consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic and a commitment to both our customers and his team,” Wilcoxon said. “His experience across multiple areas of the bank makes him a valuable asset as we continue to grow.”
Hix and his wife, Brittinie, live in the Batesville Arkansas area with their 2 children. He enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and supporting local activities, including Southside volleyball.
Officials say Hix’s promotion reflects First Community Bank’s commitment to developing leadership from within and strengthening customer relationships across Arkansas and beyond.
