White River Health is celebrating a major leadership milestone as President and CEO Steven Webb has been named to the 2026 Arkansas Money & Politics C-Suite list, honoring top executives making an impact across the state.

The recognition highlights Webb’s leadership and the continued growth and success of White River Health, which serves communities throughout North Central Arkansas.

Webb was appointed President and CEO following a nationwide search conducted by the White River Health Board of Directors. He officially stepped into the role after serving as Chief Operating Officer since July 2024.

The board confirmed Webb’s selection during a meeting held on April 29, 2025, following a leadership transition period. During that time, Chris Steel, MD, FACHE, served as Interim President and CEO and continues assisting during the transition.

“We are grateful for Dr. Steel’s service and leadership,” said Randy Cross, Chairman of the White River Health Board of Directors. “We look forward to Mr. Webb’s leadership and his ability to advance White River Health into the future.”

Webb earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from East Texas Baptist University and his Master of Health Service Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and a member of the Arkansas Health Executive Forum.

White River Health is an independent, not-for-profit healthcare system serving communities across North Central Arkansas, including facilities in Batesville and Mountain View, along with multiple outpatient, primary care, and specialty clinics.

Healthcare leaders say Webb’s recognition on the statewide C-Suite list reflects both his leadership and White River Health’s ongoing commitment to providing high-quality care across the region.
