Fans from across Arkansas and surrounding states packed The Museum of Automobiles on Petit Jean Mountain Arkansas Friday as television legend John Schneider made a special appearance that drew a large crowd of excited visitors throughout the day.
Best known for his role as “Bo Duke” on the hit television series The Dukes of Hazzard, Schneider spent hours greeting fans, signing autographs, taking photos, and visiting with families who traveled to Morrilton Arkansas for the event.
One of the many fans attending Friday’s appearance was Andrew Napolitano from Beebe Arkansas, who paused for a special picture with John Schneider during the event. Organizers say visitors lined up throughout the day for the opportunity to meet the actor and singer while also enjoying the museum’s collection of classic automobiles atop scenic Petit Jean Mountain.
The Museum of Automobiles welcomed guests from 10 AM until 3 PM with many saying the turnout exceeded expectations. Fans filled the museum grounds sharing memories of The Dukes of Hazzard while exploring vintage cars and Arkansas history.
ArkansasRadio.com CEO and General Manager Bob Connell also featured organizers Scott Romine and Beula Ivy during Friday morning’s edition of Open Mic heard across the ArkansasRadio.com radio stations.
Organizers called the event another successful day for tourism and family entertainment on Petit Jean Mountain Arkansas.
