Arkansas residents now have a new way to access dozens of state government services directly from their smartphones without searching through multiple state agency websites.

Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration have announced the launch of MyArkansas, a mobile application bringing together more than 50 state services in one convenient location.

The app is available through the Apple App Store and Google Play, with additional state services expected to be added in future updates.

The announcement was made during an event at the state Revenue Office in Springdale, where Governor Sanders was joined by Department of Finance and Administration Secretary Jim Hudson.

SPRINGDALE SERVES AS ARKANSAS CAPITAL FOR A DAY

The Governor announced the application during her Capital for a Day visit to Springdale.

The initiative brings state government officials directly into Arkansas communities to meet with residents, businesses and local leaders.

During the visit, Governor Sanders highlighted the new app as another way to simplify access to government services.

MORE THAN 50 STATE SERVICES IN ONE APP

Instead of visiting separate websites or searching for the appropriate government agency, Arkansans can use MyArkansas to locate frequently requested services.

Services accessible through the application include:

– Renewing vehicle registrations and license plates
– Checking real-time Revenue Office wait times
– Booking lodging at Arkansas State Parks
– Purchasing hunting licenses
– Purchasing fishing licenses
– Requesting vital records
– Applying for an Education Freedom Account
– Accessing important state government information
– Receiving reminders about upcoming deadlines

The application connects residents with official state services and resources.

Some transactions may require users to sign in to an agency account or complete additional steps.

REMINDERS FOR TAX DEADLINES, LICENSE RENEWALS AND EMERGENCIES

MyArkansas also provides reminders and notifications designed to help residents stay informed about important government-related deadlines.

Notifications can include:

– License renewal reminders
– Vehicle registration deadlines
– Tax deadlines
– Emergency preparedness information
– Benefits eligibility updates
– Important government notices

State officials say the goal is to reduce the time residents spend navigating different government websites.

GOVERNOR SANDERS SAYS APP WILL SAVE ARKANSANS TIME

Governor Sanders says the application was developed with busy Arkansas families and workers in mind.

“Arkansans have jobs to get to and families to take care of, and accessing state services should be a simple part of their day,” Sanders said.

She said bringing more than 50 services together in one place creates a more streamlined experience for residents handling everyday government transactions.

The Governor described the launch as part of her administration’s effort to make state government more accessible and responsive.

FINANCE SECRETARY ENCOURAGES RESIDENTS TO DOWNLOAD APP

Department of Finance and Administration Secretary Jim Hudson says MyArkansas eliminates the need for residents to search multiple agency websites to locate the services they need.

“Through this new mobile app, Arkansans do not have to search multiple websites to find the appropriate department that offers a needed service,” Hudson said.

“They can simply visit the app and find it immediately.”

Hudson encouraged residents to download MyArkansas from their smartphone’s app store.

APP DEVELOPED WITH LOGIN.GOV COLLABORATION

According to the Governor’s announcement, the application was developed in collaboration with Login.gov, a federal government sign-in service.

MyArkansas is designed to direct users to official government resources while making it easier to locate and access state services.

The application is intended to offer around-the-clock access to state information and eligible online transactions.

MORE STATE SERVICES PLANNED

The Governor’s office says additional services are expected to be introduced as the MyArkansas application continues to develop.

The new platform is part of the administration’s broader Arkansas Forward initiative, which focuses on reducing government expenses and improving public services.

In July, Governor Sanders launched the Arkansas Forward dashboard, designed to provide residents with information about more than 300 opportunities to reduce costs and improve services across 15 cabinet-level departments.

According to the Governor’s office, Arkansas Forward has identified an estimated $135 million in taxpayer savings and cost avoidance since the initiative began in 2024.

The administration has set a goal of reaching $300 million in savings and cost avoidance by the end of 2030.
