Bentley’s Restaurant is preparing for a change in operations after 29 years, with the Bentley family announcing plans to lease the restaurant to Cody Richey.
The family shared the announcement on the restaurant’s Facebook page, thanking customers, employees, friends and relatives for nearly 3 decades of support.
Bentley’s will reopen September 29 at 7 AM, and the family is asking the community to welcome Richey and his family.
BENTLEY FAMILY STEPS AWAY FROM DAILY OPERATIONS
The family described its decision to step away from the day-to-day operation as difficult, reflecting on the restaurant’s role as a gathering place.
“Bentley’s has been so much more than a restaurant to us,” the family wrote. “It has been a place where friendships were made, families gathered, celebrations were shared, and countless memories were created.”
The announcement describes a lease to a new operator rather than a sale of the restaurant.
FAMILIAR FACES WILL REMAIN
The family reassured customers that Bentley’s will continue serving the community.
“While things are changing, Bentley’s is not going away. You will still see the same familiar faces you are used to,” the announcement stated.
The family encouraged customers to continue supporting the restaurant as Richey takes over operations.
THANKING THE COMMUNITY FOR 29 YEARS
The announcement expressed gratitude to everyone who helped make Bentley’s part of the community.
“We are deeply grateful to every customer, employee, friend, and family member who has supported us throughout the years,” the family wrote. “You have truly become part of the Bentley’s family.”
The family described the transition as the beginning of a new chapter for both the restaurant and their family.
