Water Rescue Operation Saves 4 “Stranded” In Arkansas

An emergency water rescue just happened in Arkansas!

Conway County search crews and firefighters pulled four people and their vehicle out of a creek early Saturday. The Conway County Sheriff’s Office called for help just after 5:30 a.m. You can view photographs below!

Emergency Water Rescue Saves 4 In Arkansas

The group became stranded off Austin Road in a remote part of north Conway County. They spent the night in the vehicle before hiking out to find phone service.

Conway County OEM Search & Rescue responded first. District 7 firefighters from the Conway County Fire Department joined the effort.

Rescuers found the vehicle stuck in a creek off Austin Road. Crews freed the truck and got the four people out of the area.

SAR members and fire department EMTs checked them at the scene. No further medical care was needed.

All units cleared shortly before 8 a.m. and went back in service.

Officials credited the sheriff’s office, OEM Search & Rescue, and the fire department for working together to get the group home.
