The Southside School District is celebrating Superintendent Dion Stevens after he was recognized as the Best Superintendent of Independence County for 2026.
District officials said the honor recognizes Stevens’ outstanding leadership, commitment to educational excellence and the positive impact he continues to make on students, teachers, staff and the Southside community.
According to the district, Stevens has helped guide continued growth while maintaining a strong focus on student success, academic achievement and community involvement.
School leaders expressed gratitude for Stevens’ dedication and leadership, saying his vision and commitment have helped strengthen the district and position it for continued success.
The district also thanked the community for its ongoing support and invited everyone to join in congratulating Stevens on the well-deserved recognition.
