The Beebe Police Department is asking residents to review home security camera footage after a series of overnight vehicle break-ins occurred over the past several nights.
According to police, the incidents began on July 6 and have continued over a 3-night period. Investigators say the break-ins appear to have happened between 12 a.m. and 4 a.m.
Police are especially asking residents living on or near the following streets to check their surveillance cameras:
North Fir Street
Nebraska Street
Locust Street
College Street
Holly Street
Even if nothing was stolen from a vehicle, officers say video footage could provide valuable evidence in identifying those responsible.
Investigators currently believe the suspects are juveniles and may be local to the Beebe area.
Anyone who has security camera footage showing suspicious activity, attempted vehicle break-ins, or successful break-ins is encouraged to contact the Beebe Police Department at 501-882-3365, extension 3.
Police say the investigation remains active and appreciate the community’s assistance.
