White County Fatal Crash Claims Life Of Hensley Man On Highway 167

Arkansas State Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a Hensley man in rural White County.

According to a preliminary fatal crash report, the accident occurred at approximately 5:12 a.m. on June 12, 2026, on U.S. Highway 167 near Glaze Mason Road.

Authorities identified the victim as 47-year-old Dwight Adam Simmons of Hensley. Simmons was driving a 2021 Toyota Camry southbound on U.S. Highway 167 when the vehicle left the roadway while negotiating a right-hand curve.

Investigators reported the vehicle struck a private drive embankment, causing it to become airborne and rotate before coming to rest.

Weather conditions were reported as dark, and the roadway was wet at the time of the crash.

Simmons was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved, and no additional injuries were reported.

The body was transported to the White County Coroner’s Office. Arkansas State Police Trooper Isom Wells investigated the crash.

The fatality was listed as Arkansas traffic fatality number 193 of 2026. The investigation remains ongoing.
