Mayor Mike Roberson was recognized for his years of dedication to municipal government during the Arkansas Municipal League Convention, receiving a Distinguished Service Award before hundreds of city officials from across the state.
The award honors elected officials and municipal leaders who have demonstrated exceptional commitment, leadership and service to their communities and to local government throughout Arkansas.
Roberson was presented the Distinguished Service Award during the annual convention held in Little Rock, where more than 1,000 municipal officials, city leaders and industry representatives gathered to discuss issues impacting Arkansas cities and towns.
Throughout his public service career, Roberson has worked to strengthen local government, support community development and advocate for policies benefiting Arkansas municipalities. The Distinguished Service Award recognizes those efforts and highlights the important role local leaders play in improving the quality of life for residents across the state.
