The Batesville School District will once again provide free summer meals for children ages newborn through 18 years old beginning June 2 through July 28 in Batesville Arkansas and surrounding communities.
School officials say meals are available to children from any district and families may choose between walk-in meals or meal pick-up options.
Walk-in meals will be served Monday through Friday at the Batesville Junior High School Cafeteria located at 1 Pioneer Drive in Batesville. Breakfast will be served from 8 AM until 8:30 AM with lunch available from 11 AM until 11:30 AM.
Meal pick-up locations will operate Tuesdays from June 2 through July 28 at several locations including Batesville Junior High Cafeteria, Cushman City Park, Sulphur Rock Elementary, West Elementary, and Bethesda Fire Department.
District officials encourage families planning to participate in the meal pick-up program to complete the online registration form to guarantee meal availability.
