Arkansas State University-Beebe recently honored faculty, staff and retirees during its annual employee appreciation event held Wednesday, May 7, on the Beebe campus.

A total of 34 employees were recognized for milestone years of service, while retirees were honored for a combined 516 years of dedication to campuses located in Beebe, Heber Springs, Searcy and Little Rock Air Force Base.
Dr. Jennifer Methvin, chancellor of ASU-Beebe, praised employees for their daily commitment to students and academic excellence.
The highest service recognition for 30 years was presented to Charlene Chambers and Dr. Connie Nowell. Employees recognized for 20 years included Jeff Roland, Jeff Crow, Derrick Holobaugh, Amber Dunn, Tammy Jerdee and Kim Dailey.
Honored for 15 years of service were Dr. Joseph Scott, Dr. Dava Brock, Dr. David Jones, Mary Jo Parker, Dr. Richard Smith, Vivian Walters and Megan Cain.
Those recognized for 10 years included Tamara Cloud, Dr. Brian Weaver, Megan Stane, Tara Hart, Bryan Henry, Dana Goodwin and Sylvia Hiltz.
Employees honored for five years of service included Penny Cook, Chad Duncheon, Jakob Lawrence, Clayton Scott, Lisa Crisco, Jennifer Harmon, Thomas Hillman, Marla Smith, Anna Ford, Jerry Smith, Patricia Tober and Tabatha Jones.
Retirees recognized included Dr. Stephen Knapp, Dr. Brent Bristow, Mary Jo Parker, Al Brucks and Bob Counts. Emeriti status was awarded to Dr. Stephen Knapp, Dr. Brent Bristow and Mary Jo Parker.
Additional honors included the Outstanding Staff Award presented to Cassidy Davison and the Outstanding Faculty Award presented to Chad Duncheon. Division awards were presented to Barbara Castle and Leslie Shults, while Karen Davidson received the Because of You Award.
Founded in 1927, ASU-Beebe is a two-year institution within the Arkansas State University System with campuses in Beebe, Heber Springs, Searcy and Little Rock Air Force Base.
