Stuff the Booth School Supply Drive Set for August 8 in Heber Springs

The Artisans Market of Heber Springs is inviting the community to help local students and teachers prepare for the upcoming school year by participating in its “Stuff the Booth!” Back-to-School Supply Drive on Saturday, August 8.
The event will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at The Artisans Market of Heber Springs, located at 301 W. Main Street.
Community members are encouraged to bring new school supplies to donate for local classrooms. Organizers say every contribution, whether it’s pencils, notebooks, crayons, glue sticks, tissues, headphones, markers or other classroom essentials, will help students begin the new school year prepared for success.
The school supply drive is also an opportunity to recognize the dedication of local educators.
“Our district is full of teachers who pour so much love into our children,” organizers said. “This is our way of saying ‘Thank You!'”
In addition to supporting local schools, visitors will have the opportunity to shop from a wide variety of talented local artisans, crafters, bakers and small businesses participating in The Artisans Market.
Organizers say the event offers families a chance to support local entrepreneurs while also giving back to the community through donations that will directly benefit area classrooms.
“No donation is too small,” organizers said. “Together, we can Stuff the Booth and make a big difference for students and teachers in our community.”
