Emergency crews responded to a reported lightning strike at the Searcy Shell gas station and convenience store on Truman Baker Drive Tuesday evening.

According to Searcy Fire Chief Brian Dunavan, crews were dispatched just after 6:00 PM following reports of a lightning strike at the location. Officials say there were no injuries, but some smoke was reported inside the building.

The business, located at 1250 Truman Baker Drive in Searcy, is a 24-hour convenience store and fueling station offering Shell gasoline and hot food items.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation, and no major damage has been reported.
