Fire Rages Across Hotel In Arkansas
The fire raged on the north side, tearing through both floors and into the attic. Crews launched an aggressive attack and searched the building, unsure if anyone was inside the seemingly abandoned hotel.
The massive structure and early hour allowed the fire to grow unchecked, creating intense heat and near-zero visibility. These dangerous conditions, paired with structural uncertainties, pushed firefighters to their limits.
Though no longer in regular use, the hotel’s occupancy was unclear until thorough searches were completed. Firefighters operated assuming people could be inside until proving otherwise.
Thanks to coordinated efforts, the blaze was controlled with no injuries reported. The building was empty, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
