The Pine Bluff Police Department has confirmed big activity with their “Burglary Task Force”.
Mulitple arrests have been made.
According to a statement released by the Police Department, 3 suspects have been arrested for multiple break-ins around the area. They are also encouraging the public to submit any tips related to the recent break-ins under investigation.
Investigation Underway After Multiple Arrest In Burglary Crackdowns
The Pine Bluff Police Department’s Burglary Task Force has apprehended Alyssia Alexander, 32, for multiple commercial burglaries. Alexander faces charges for robbing Shipley’s Donuts and Atomic Wings, alongside existing robbery warrants.
In a related crackdown, two 15-year-olds were arrested for separate incidents at Wendy’s and Shipley’s Donuts. These arrests occurred in quick succession on October 13, showcasing the task force’s rapid response.
Formed to tackle a recent surge in business break-ins, the task force has been actively using community tips and business data. Their efforts are part of a broader initiative to curb property crimes in the area.
Lieutenant DeShawn Bennett emphasized the commitment to local business safety and community collaboration. “Our officers’ dedication, paired with community support, is key to these successes,” he stated.
