Howard General Baptist Church Hosting “Food Truck” Sunday Fundraiser for Veterans in Quitman Arkansas

he Women’s Ministry Group at Howard General Baptist Church is inviting the community to enjoy a homemade “Food Truck” Sunday fundraiser on May 17, 2026, beginning at 12:30 PM.

The special community meal fundraiser will take place at the church located at 4900 Heber Springs Road West in Quitman and will feature a wide variety of homemade favorites prepared by members of the Women’s Ministry Group.

Menu selections are expected to include BBQ, country cooking, Italian dishes, tacos, desserts, breads, and bakery items. Organizers say everyone is invited to attend and enjoy a meal while supporting a meaningful cause.

All donations collected during the event will go toward helping veterans.

Event organizer Brenda Holley said the fundraiser is designed to bring the community together for food, fellowship, and support for local veterans.

Community members from Quitman, Heber Springs, Greers Ferry, Clinton, and surrounding areas are encouraged to attend.
