A Stone County man has been arrested for taking his sister and her one-year-old baby from their home. Joshua David Younger, 22, from Mountain View, faces four charges from the April 9th incident.
According to the probable cause affidavit, Younger entered the house where his sister, brother-in-law, and baby live around 2 AM and woke everyone up to pray. The brother-in-law reported to a 9-1-1 dispatcher that Younger assaulted him when he refused to read the Bible, and they fought until he could break free to call for help.
Younger is charged with felony interference with custody, along with two misdemeanor counts of assault in the third degree and one misdemeanor count of false imprisonment. His bond is set at $200,000.
