Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin announced that Regina Mai Allen, 29, of Benton, has pleaded guilty in federal court to 1 count of distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) following an investigation by the Attorney General’s Special Investigations Division.

According to Griffin, the investigation began in February 2024 after special agents received a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) through the Arkansas State Police.
Investigators executed a search warrant at Allen’s residence, where several electronic devices were seized. Authorities said forensic examinations uncovered 51 images and 133 videos containing child sexual abuse material.
Allen was initially charged with 4 federal counts involving the distribution, possession, or viewing of child sexual abuse material.
On July 1, 2026, Allen entered a guilty plea in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas to 1 count of distribution of child sexual abuse material.
She has not yet been sentenced. Under the plea agreement, Allen faces 5 to 20 years in federal prison, a fine of up to $250,000, and will be required to register as a sex offender.
Attorney General Griffin praised the work of the Special Investigations Division and thanked the Benton Police Department for assisting with the arrest.
Griffin said his office remains committed to protecting children and working with law enforcement partners to investigate crimes involving child sexual abuse material.
All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Allen has now entered a guilty plea and is awaiting sentencing.
