Arkansas State Police are investigating a fatal rollover crash that claimed the life of a Jonesboro woman Tuesday evening in Sharp County.
According to the preliminary Arkansas State Police fatal crash report, the crash happened at approximately 5:50 p.m. on June 9, 2026, along US Highway 63 north of Ravenden.
Troopers say a 2016 Ford Escape traveling southbound left the roadway and struck a gravel pull-off before becoming airborne. Investigators say the vehicle landed on the opposite side of the pull-off and rolled.
The driver, identified as 65-year-old Amy Marr of Jonesboro, was pronounced dead following the crash. No other injuries were listed in the report.
Authorities say weather conditions were clear and road conditions were dry at the time of the crash.
The crash is being investigated by Arkansas State Police Trooper Corey D. Bates.
The body is being held at Tri County Funeral Home.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
