Harrisburg Man Killed, 3 Injured Victims Identified In Independence County Crash

Authorities have released the names of the injured victims involved in a deadly rollover crash that happened early Sunday morning near Floral in Independence County.

According to the preliminary fatal crash report, the accident occurred at approximately 12:27 a.m. on June 8, 2026, on Big Creek Road near Floral.

Investigators say a westbound 2006 Chevy Avalanche failed to negotiate a left curve and rolled over. Authorities say the driver and 1 passenger were ejected during the crash.

The driver, identified as 42-year-old William Wesley Clary of Harrisburg, was killed in the accident.

Authorities identified the injured passengers as 39-year-old Megan Marie Conner of White Hall, 20-year-old Conner Wayne Jones of White Hall, and 46-year-old Lindsey Renee Crews of Star City. An additional unidentified minor was also injured in the crash.

All injured victims were transported to White River Medical Center for treatment.

Authorities say weather conditions were clear and the roadway was dry at the time of the accident.

The crash remains under investigation by Sergeant Keashawn Robinson with the Independence County Sheriff’s Office.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
