Golfers from across North Central Arkansas are invited to take part in the 7th Annual Ozark Gateway Golf Tournament on May 16 2026, a premier spring event combining competition, community, and scenic beauty.

The tournament will take place at the Cherokee Village South Course and will feature a 4 person scramble format designed for all skill levels. Registration begins at 8 a.m., followed by a 9 a.m. shotgun start, with winners announced around 3 p.m.

The $300 team entry fee includes pastries, lunch, tournament play, and access to multiple contests including longest drive, longest putt, and closest to the pin. Cash prizes will be awarded at select holes, along with prizes for top teams across 3 competitive flights.

Organizers say tee box assignments will be based on age groups to ensure fair competition. A limited number of golf carts will be available on a first come, first served basis, encouraging early registration.

Hosted by the Ozark Gateway Tourist Council, the tournament helps fund regional tourism efforts across Fulton County Arkansas, Independence County Arkansas, Izard County Arkansas, Jackson County Arkansas, Lawrence County Arkansas, Randolph County Arkansas, Sharp County Arkansas, and Stone County Arkansas.

Event organizers say the tournament is more than just golf — it is an opportunity to experience the natural beauty, rivers, trails, and welcoming communities that define the Ozark Gateway Region.
