A successful opening day of youth turkey season in Independence County Arkansas is being celebrated after young hunter Jack Horton harvested a gobbler during a guided hunt.
Jack was invited to hunt in Independence County by Jonathan Cypert, who guided him through the experience. Cypert, known for his commitment to mentoring young hunters, makes it a goal to take at least 1 youth turkey hunting each year.
