BREAKING NEWS: White River Health Reaches Agreement with UnitedHealthcare

, , Leave a comment

White River Health has announced a new agreement with UnitedHealthcare that ensures continued in-network access for patients across North Central Arkansas.

According to officials, the agreement includes a 2-year contract for commercial plans and an extension for Medicare Advantage plans through December 31, 2026. This means patients covered by UnitedHealthcare will maintain in-network access to services provided by White River Health.

White River Health CEO Steven Webb says the agreement is a major step forward for the community.

Webb says the organization worked diligently to prevent disruptions in care, especially for Medicare Advantage patients who could have faced coverage gaps.

Officials say although there was a brief period when White River Health was out-of-network, care received during that time will now be covered at in-network rates under the new agreement.

White River Health leaders emphasized the importance of advocating for fair reimbursement rates and reducing administrative delays that can impact patient care.

Patients are encouraged to review their plan options during the upcoming Medicare Annual Enrollment Period this fall.
