The Cave City Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon will be held this Saturday, February 28, bringing the community together for a celebration of leadership, service, and hometown pride.

Hosted by the Cave City Area Chamber of Commerce, the inaugural event will take place at the Cave City Elementary School Cafeteria and is open to the public.
Organizers say the luncheon will recognize the Outstanding Woman in Business, Legacy Award honorees, Citizen of the Year, and other community leaders who help Cave City shine.
“This event is about celebrating the people and businesses who keep Cave City moving forward, while honoring the relationships and traditions that got us here,” said Brandi Schulz, Executive Director of the Cave City Area Chamber of Commerce. “Old School & Forever Cool captures that sweet spot between nostalgia and momentum, where we can have fun, recognize excellence, and look ahead together.”
This year’s theme, Old School & Forever Cool, encourages attendees to dress in their favorite decade, from 70s disco to 80s neon or 90s throwback. Business casual attire is also welcome.
General admission tickets are 50 dollars and include upscale appetizers from Cave City eateries, Radical Rectangle pizza and fresh salad from Pizza Pro Cave City, and a classic 3 inch chocolate chip cookie from The Muffin Top.
Buses will begin running at 9:30 a.m. from sponsor locations including Bank of Cave City, Cave City Nursing Home, Cave City Pharmacy, First Community Bank, and UniFirst Corporation. Doors open at 10:00 a.m. for Study Hall activities, and the Awards Luncheon begins at 11:00 a.m.
Tickets are available through the Chamber.
