A major new contest is set to headline the 2026 Toad Suck Daze festival, giving participants the chance to win a vehicle through a revived endurance-style competition called Hands on a Hyundai.
The contest is being introduced through a partnership between First Community Bank and Chris Crain Hyundai, inspired by a fan-favorite style challenge that longtime festival attendees have requested for years.
Hands on a Hyundai is a physical endurance competition in which contestants must keep one hand on a vehicle at all times. The final remaining participant wins the vehicle. Organizers say the event blends festival tradition with a new community-centered promotion designed to draw attention and participation.
Community leaders say the contest reflects collaboration between local partners and the strong public response to interactive festival events. The competition is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the corner of Oak and Parkway in downtown Conway.
Toad Suck Daze is one of Arkansas’s largest free family festivals, featuring live entertainment, food vendors, carnival rides, shopping areas, children’s zones, outdoor activities, and the World Championship Toad Races. Admission to the festival is free, with proceeds from activities supporting local nonprofit organizations.
