Families looking for hands-on learning and old-time fun can head to Ozark Folk Center State Park for a full week of Spring Break activities March 23–27.

Visitors can take part in interactive Ozark heritage experiences including traditional crafts, dulcimer playing, jig dancing, weaving, felted soap making, and heirloom seed planting. Guided tours of the Craft Village, Heritage Herb Garden, and Ozark Highlands Theater will also be offered as artisans prepare for the upcoming season.
Admission to the park is free during Spring Break week. Program schedules will be available online and at the Visitor Center.
New this year is a special parent-or-grandparent-and-child knife-making class taught by master bladesmith Brad Spurlock. Each one-day workshop allows an adult and child pair to build a functional knife together using pre-forged materials. Cost is $220 per pair, with advance registration required and limited seating available.
On-site lodging is available at The Cabins at Dry Creek, offering convenient access to park activities.
